A one-night only reading of the pro-gay marriage play "8" based on court proceedings from the Proposition 8 trial in California will take place Saturday, April 6 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
A cast of 21, including local attorneys, activists. professional actors and gay-marriage advocates will present this 8 pm staged reading on April 6. The play, written by Dustin Lance Black, who wrote the screenplay for the film Milk, is a documentary style retelling of the revelatory moments from the famous trial.
