After our tremendous work to secure basic relationship recognition for gay and lesbian couples in Delaware we still have work to do! Equality Delaware is working with the Governor and key legislators to build support for marriage, but we need your help! The Legislative Session has begun and we need you help mobilizing all of our supporters in Delaware.
Join us every Saturday in Wilmington from 12pm-3:30pm at the Brew Ha Ha! cafe on Concord Pike.
We’ll be going door to door to talk to past supporters and inviting them to upcoming EQDE events. A training and a script will be provided, and all newcomers are paired with an experienced canvasser. There are a limited number of phones to lend out, so please bring cell phone if you are able.
Talking to our supporters one on one is the most effective way to build our team so that we can make the impact we need to this year.
